Her mother died in 2008 and was buried in Singapore while her dad is an American who is from Iowa. He is also an ex- US Navy member. Mark Charlson, her birth father is from Iowa who retired in 1980. He served aboard the U.S.S. O'Brien stationed in the Philippines. The couple adopted her by Annabelle's Panganiban as she was just a newborn, and her grandparents Adolfo as well as Mila Panganiban, helped in raising her. Her birth father Mark Charlson is a retired U.S. Navy man from Iowa, United States; that was on the U.S.S. O'Brien in the Philippines.
