Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at young age of fourteen. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd had an amazing three-fight winning streak in Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent within the first round. Following that, she travelled to WCFC to win again, beating Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen as she beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's amateur records were affected. Ladd bounced back from the defeat, and won Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen made her pro debut in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the the first round via TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to rise from Bantamweight to her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used superior wrestling to defeat McGill in the third round of a TKO. She next fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her in the second round by KO. Invicta FC, 21 was her last promotion fight. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks won by unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina and then pounded her on the ground in the second round to secure a TKO victory. Ladd continued to dominate and racked up an amazing victory in her subsequent fight against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Ladd was victorious in round one and received the Performance of the Night Bonus. The first big fight she fought in was in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd took home by a unanimous decision following some great exchanges among the pair of fighters, was awarded the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. In a recent replacement match in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. She was beaten by a unanimous verdict.
