Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue The. Ellis Taylor, American actor and producer. She received the B.A. in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School of acting at New York University. Aunjanue l. Ellis is an American producer and actress who has performed in theatre as well as television and film productions also, has been present on both sides of the screen. Her acting career began in the theatre. Later, she was a part of several television shows as well as independent and mainstream movies. She was known for appearing in the role of Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) and on BET's massive The Book of Negroes. Both series received major praise from critics, and she also took home a variety of accolades. She started her career as an actor in the year 1995, when she appeared as Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest. In addition to the Broadway production Come and Gone, she also has credits for Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. She is most well-known for her roles in the films Men of Honor, the Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help. Her role on television in ABC's police drama series High Incident has earned her praises.
